In 1976, I established TI in a modest, single-room office in New Delhi with one clear objective: to bring the right people together. Over the last four decades, we have grown from those humble beginnings into a dynamic, global operation—successfully placing more than 150,000 professionals across the GCC. Inception
1976
Trehan International was established in Delhi, India, registered with the Ministry of Labour and Employment, Government of India.
Technological Advancement and Global Expansion
1980s & 1990s: The Rise of Recruitment Technology
This period marked the introduction of job requisitions, active candidates, job boards, online resumes, and the beginning of tactical recruitment and process outsourcing. The advent of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) revolutionized the recruitment process, making it more organized and efficient.


Expansion and Technological Adoption
1985
We broadened our horizon, establishing a network of national and international offices, signalling our commitment to global talent solutions.

1995
Our mobilizations to employers across the GCC nations saw a significant increase, reflecting our growing influence and operational capacity.
1996
The opening of our corporate office in Mumbai was a strategic move to better serve our expanding client base. Embracing new sourcing models, we positioned ourselves as pioneers, working directly with clients and candidates.

The new millennium ushered in advanced practices such as social media recruiting, employment branding, engaging passive candidates, video interviewing, and integrated Talent Acquisition strategies. The focus shifted towards creating a compelling employer brand, leveraging technology for candidate relationship management, and virtual onboarding.
